Choose the Right Partnership Path

The model decides what Maquine prepares and what the rightsholder keeps.

The standard localization partnership does not transfer publishing control. Any license, royalty share, publishing role, exclusivity, territory, term, format, approval, or reversion condition must be defined in writing.

Localization Partnership

Maquine receives the source manuscript and prepares a publication-ready localization package: translation, editorial adaptation, revision, proofreading guidance, metadata, copy, and delivery materials. The author, publisher, or rightsholder keeps control of publication, distribution, pricing, advertising, platform accounts, and royalty collection unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

Compensation

Fixed localization fee, deferred fee, royalty share, or hybrid structure.

Foreign Edition Partnership

For projects that need deeper packaging, publishing, distribution, royalty reporting, or co-publishing support, the agreement defines language, territory, formats, term, exclusivity, approval, reversion, and royalties in writing before production begins.

Curated Maquine Edition

A Maquine edition is a separate publishing path. It is not the default result of a localization partnership. Publishing control, rights license, formats, term, royalties, approval, and reversion must be agreed in writing.
